Present Day

Darkness fades,
to new worlds, Stars fly,
as the sands fall,
leaving hazy eyes.

Unseeing orbs,
gazing at remnants
of Dreams, Wishes,
just out of reach.

Desperation sound,
a return to better days.
Bitterness taste,
as Time continues on.

Yet Hope never fails,
it slips and glides
between the cracks,
paving pathways.

Arise! The Dawn's chariot,
sunlight, warm rays,
creeping softly 'cross window pane,
fracture the Night's remains.

Sun, shine thine light,
awaken the sleeping Soul,
enter through its glass.
Guide it to Hope once more.

Nostalgia fills within,
a burning of desire,
calling for action,
for swift movement.

Warning of opportunities lost,
of greatness to seek.
Adventure to be found,
Tales to be written.

Day has arrived,
bringing forth a fresh start.
Live today as if,
it's the one and only Day given.
