Presence

ob 35:6-7

If you sin, how does it affect God?
If your transgressions are many,
what does it do to Him?
7 If you are righteous, what do you give to God,
or what does He receive from your hand?

Presence

God does for us … what we cannot see

even at our best … we can’t comprehend.

He is always near … and always here

to support us in spite of the rules we bent.

He feels all the pain … and all suffering

as it happens on earth … to every child.

When He feels pain … as it lingers on

He will not leave … the sufferer’s side.

Man thinks God ... to be untouchable

but He always touches us.

All we need to do is reach out

and thank Him as such.

When I cry a tear I touch Him ... and when I misbehave I don’t?

Well I mean in the flesh … where there “dwells” no good?

In spirit I can touch Him … in my sorrow He draws near.

When I break down and grieve ... He surrounds my sphere.

When I am vulnerable … He lifts me in His arms.

He carries me until I settle down ... an ever soothing balm.

He is so dependable … full of love and warmth.

Every time I turn around … He observes with loving calm.

There is no one like Him … and there will never be.

He is one of a kind … the Master of Eternal.

Filled to the brim … with love I cannot perceive

for I am to blind ... in my appointed temporal.
