Prayer for Love

To acknowledge we're something,

to oppose the murder of consciousness,

to bend knee toward the last

exhalations of fields of lukewarm corpses

shouting the symphony of remorse;

to hold dear that which makes what we hold dear,

to cherish the prism of our own minds

and hearts which separates universal white light

into perceptions alive and beautiful,

existing.

To live of love,

summon strength for me, I pray,

that I may cherish,

that I may make of myself a pillar

lodged in support of deep beauties.
