Electricity is key,

Powering, lighting, advancing the world.

I would want it with me,

So my fingers would not be curled.

The outdoors can get cold,

No matter how hot the day.

It would be better than having straight coal,

And it would be easy to light the way.

Yes, I’m thinking practical,

But practical is good.

Especially when one is trying

To live as they always should.

Maybe it would be fun,

To lay out on the beach.

But I would not need the sun

If I had electricity.
