The power of the stranger

Would your life be different now,
If someone had just told you how?
If they reached out to help you change
Even if at first they appeared as strange.

Guiding you down the narrow way
Hoping your heart would start to sway.
Leading you to become your best,
A version that has long been repressed.

Your life is better, your soul has changed
Your once lost family no longer estranged.
Now you pay off your new found debt,
Into motion you’ve just been set.

Helping others is not a crime
When I want to help the lives of others, just as you helped mine.
