Power -

You use powers in math,

There's power with electricity,

but, then there's the amount of power,

that somone has over other people.

The most powerful man in the world?

Some may say the president.

The least powerful man in the world?

Some may say,

is that person,

who doesn't have a home,

who doesn't have any friends,

who ARE FORCED - 

to live on the streets.

As we walk by,

we may judge them,

think they are "creepy",

question why they don't get a job at Micky D's,

that is hiring right down the street.

But do we ever think of that one word,

that is more powerful than the president,

that is more powerful than 10 to the 100th power?

Do we ever think of - love?

The one thing too many people love in this world - 

is power.

They think bullying is necessary,

so they can feel like they have power.

They think being the boss of a huge company,

is the way they will gain the power they thrive for.

So what do these "powerful" people love?

Themselves?

Okay, I get it.

It's good to love yourself.

I'm not trying to get you to feel bad about yourself.

I'm not trying to get you to not love yourself.

I'm telling you, everyone in this world deserves to be loved.

And everyone in this world should share love.

I don't care if you pick up someone's books

when they are knocked down by a "powerful" someone.

Or if you volunteer at a nursing home,

or a food bank,

just make someone feel loved.

I want you to show more love.

Because when the power of love,

overcomes the love of power - 

We will see a difference in this world.

There will be less tragedies,

and more miracles

because before people do what they think should happen,

they will open their hearts,

and choose the right thing to do,

Out of love - 

Love.

That four letter word,

can be more powerful than one thing in this world.

If you just take the time,

to think of others before yourself.

It will not only make others feel great,

it will, and I mean WILL,

make YOU feel like weight has been lifted off your chest,

it will give you a reason to smile - 

Love.
