A pounding heart

The long narrow road to heaven

Where men fall in pits deeper than clueless love.

Hope you’ll find him seated on his exalted thrown.

Remember to ask him for a pounding heart,

For life slides on the plate of breathing

In and out,

But still my heart beats inside my chest

A sustained life

Hope my soul abodes here forever

With a pounding heart 💗
