Possession

Mark 9:23-24

23 Then Jesus said to him, “‘If you are able?’ All things are possible for the one who believes.” 24 Immediately the father of the boy cried out and said, “I believe; help my unbelief!”

Mark 9:28-29

28 Then, after he went into the house, his disciples asked him privately, “Why couldn’t we cast it out?” 29 He told them, “This kind can come out only by prayer.”

How can one recognize “demon” possession?

Who can really show the substance of a man?

Can we do it by ourselves without intervention?

Is it not too far beyond us … so that we can’t?

Is the Spirit of truth not needed ... to recognize one lying?

Is it not warnings heeded ... that His guidance is supplying?

Does not one need to be real for completeness in observance?

Is it not God’s appeal … that leads us in endurance?

Is it not well understood that...  alike spirits enjoy each other?

That they walk hand in hand … where others do not bother.

When spirits confront each other ... aren’t they of different origins?

Is here not where sight goes farther ... and truth to calling clings?

Is it in the inner me that reality lives?

As one is redeemed nothing else will give?
