Point of View

Fri, 01/24/2014 - 19:25 -- tnl730

Location

Texas
United States

The wind blows and the leaves rustle

Everyone’s moving with such hustle

No one stops anymore to listen to Her

To them she’s like a cats annoying purr

But what if they just stopped for a moment

And ceased being a major opponent

If all the cars were turned off

And the only sound was that of a cough

Or the sweet little hum of a bumble bee

And the crashing waves of the sea

To get rid of all the distractions

And finally decide to take action

To fight for the ones without a voice

So that one day our children can rejoice

At the sight of a once endangered species

That can now live their live easy

All it takes is to see the problem

So that we can change it to be awesome

I don’t know about you, but I love Earth

And wish to help with its rebirth

For it to be strong once again

Like it has once been

Before the cars, phones, and wars

When everyone used to go outdoors

My question to you is what will you do

To change our world's point of view?
