My favorie place is

in the middle of a wasteland

in suspense before a battle.

But my favorite place is also

a peaceful woodland village

with mythical beasts scampering around.

I love the smell of dew on grass

near a huge lake or by the ocean

surrounded by sand dunes.

While I am there, though,

I am also in space,

waiting for something to happen.

My favorite place is anywhere

my poetry or my imagination takes me.
