Why is it that most poetry is ignored
Does it come off as bored
Or is the perspective way to broad?

Well it speaks truth
It seeks to empower the masses
Written words of emotions and feelings
Is this our hidden healings

As for a mold
It gives you a hold
Of what isn't properly told

Its a god given ability to write
Poetry gives our people sight
By providing might and even unites

As fire sparkes into our souls
With hidden strength of hope
As For once we have been bitter cold

For This is words of power
This world is ours .
