A place for the gifted, the able, the willingly

Poetry frees those who love and who hate

Who’s feelings are shown in a place they find safe

 

A poem has no time to face fear and rejection

One is open to share, or keep close in discretion

Poems help the lost seek, and the found share their message

To explore the mystique, change other perspectives

 

A poem is an outlet, a tool for the learner

Whether shouted from the mountain top, or whispered and murmured

Poems can bring change, a poem can console

No matter the purpose, a purpose unfolds

 

Poetry is no more than guidance for others

To help them explore the worlds curious wonders

A poem is no more than a sense of acceptance

To bring solace to all and their different perspectives
