Don't take it away
don't let us regress
we've pushed that boulder up the mountain
and now
it's threatening to roll right back down
to crush us
to smother freedom.

Who's concern is it
What a woman does with her body?
Hers.

But who's concern is it
If options are denied
if urges must be suppressed
if improper education leads to a world of
overpopulation, poverty, anger,
no choice?
That is everyone's concern.

We mustn't go back
to the dark ages
when a woman's only role was
wife
mother
second-class citizen

What happens if contraception is denied?
the reproduction of
resent.
