Plan C

Thu, 08/06/2015 - 13:07 -- TKBT

Life is a mess. Some is just a controlled mess.

Everywhere. Literally and figuratively. All the time.

Most of us have a dream, a goal, or an objective. "Get out of bed" or "Become a surgeon".

Length of time is irrelevant- whether it is by the end of the day, the year, or our life- it is still ours.

It is whatever you need, when you need it.

Plan A- the straight line path- Point A to Point B with the fewest twists and turns. Ideal.

Realistic. Plan B- the foreseeable barrier path- takes into account the barriers we expect.

Unexp- Plan C- the adaptable path- constantly shifting to accommodate the unforeseen. -ected

Plan A works sometimes, when you can reach out and take it. Good.

Plan B works a fair amount, when everything just falls into place. Great.

Plan C ends up happening a lot, when life’s mess pops up. Awesome.

Plan C has so many twists and turns that you may not even end up where you were aiming for.

Surgeon? Firefighter? Florist.

But that is what makes it brilliant.

You get to see more out of life. Your eyes are opened.

Experience more things than if it all just fell into place or could reach out and take it.

You get different perspectives that you would have otherwise missed. Try looking again.

It is the unforeseen- life’s messes- that make the journey interesting.

Plan A may be ideal, but Plan C is what makes life amazing.

I live by Plan C. I don't want to live any other way.

And it is awesome.

Sometimes you just have to go back, highlight, and look again to see what you missed before.
