Pink

Pink is for embarrassment, the insides, cold palms
A rat’s tail, a pig’s nose and toenails.
A mix of hearts and white out
Sunsets, the pink of beginnings, the pink of seashells, blankets;
Innocent pink, the pink of lips;
The luminous pink, in the body’s upper half;
a taste of a warm cheek, the warmth of a sting
Pink is for gluttony;
strawberry lollipops and ice cream.
The pink of cotton candy, it’s fluffy crystals.
Furious pink, hard hands, and raw meat
The pink of erasers, their grey holders;
The pink of valentines, flirtation, and my quiet.
