For Pigs and Unicorns

He has such a ways with words

when describing his feeling to Her

Maybe someday they'll Flock Together

like those birds of a feather

Together they fly

as the snow flurries the sky

until the wind forces them to land

Grounded

and He can no longer hold Her hand

Missing the soft touch

The wind got stronger

their distance, longer

but nowhere long enough to keep them apart

because she stole his heart

With it, she ran like a theif in the night

franticly in flight

from the nefarious winds

that took her treasure
