Pieces (The Stripping, No. 6)

Location

I have decided
to split my soul amongst you all
piece by piece I hand you glowing shreds
And I shall ask of you
to keep them close and safe
perhaps in that hollow in your chest,
there? Yes.
I believe I will find a home there
it may be a cold unwhole now
But I glow and fill it, warmth and light.
someday, the glow shall fail
but you will be whole again
and I shall have peace,
For I am honored that you allowed me
To heal the depths of you.
