Like A Phoenix
The last ember faded,
Before man stood devastation.
Their lost left them jaded,
Questioning the foundation.
Yet despite the flickering flames,
Fledgling hope remains.
It may be Pandora’s box cliched claims,
But the prospect still attains.
Attains a new chance to explore perspective,
Through the journey knowledge is gained.
Culminated into enhanced subjective,
Like a Phoenix unchained.
Its humanity’s darkest times that indeed fester change,
So I say let it happen, chaos and mange;
The weak and the wobbly and the strange;
In through calamity, and out rearranged.
