The Philosophy Of Space

You talk about space

As if it were an empty vase

There is an absence of light

Yet the stars ignite

The universe is vast

So we can’t go too fast

The planets align

Could that be a sign?

“We live in the Milky Way”

...or so you say

Earth has me grounded

And I feel surrounded

It has been a long trek

And I’m still a wreck

The sun revolves

Nothing it resolves
