Peter Pan

Of the billions among billions

of stars in our solar system,

only one

leads to a land

of unspeakable beauty

of incredible adventure

the second star to the right.

A land of pirates

Mermaids, Indians,

Lost Boys and…

him.

Of all the stories told

only one remains true

wishing upon this star brings him

to you.

His shadow rips you from your home

with only faith, trust, and pixie blood

he flies you to Neverland.

Fighting pirates.

Fishing for mermaids.

Kidnapping Indians.

Killing fairies.

A beautiful land

filled with magic and evil.

He brings you to Neverland,

treats you like a friend

but only he knows,

you can never leave

his home.

All fun and games until…

you want to go home.

All magic and beauty until…

you start to grow old.

Only he stays young forever.

As time goes by

you age,

you miss your family,

but he’s your family now.

There is no escape.

When it’s time,

he steals your heart,

keeps it for himself.

How else could he stay so young?

You wished for it, didn’t you?

But is it really that bad,

if you too never grow old?

He saves you

from the cruel world,

outside Neverland.

He takes you on adventures,

treasure hunts, fishing trips.

How bad is it actually?

He saved you from all the bad…

in the other world.

How else did you think kids never age,

in Neverland.
