I can’t stop these tears

From running down my face

My heart is filled with hurt

From trying to endure this race

God you said you’d always be here

Well I’m in need of you now

I’m trying to stay strong

But I just don’t know how

You told me you love me

And that I was your child

I’m starting to grow weary

Lord please help me to smile

I ask that you mend my broken heart

Lord please make it all new

I know you see my hurt and

I’m trusting you to see me through

My burdens are becoming heavy

This is a lot to bear
