Perfect Timing

What do you see when you look at her Most would say a soldier indeed

But behind every smile is a story

She writes her book day by day making

her own moral for every page

To everyone else she's lucky

To them good words are all she speaks

They admire her pride and dedication

They only see good no dissatisfaction

She writes her book day by day making her own moral for every page

To her perspective, she is lonely

In her mind she is confused

She helps everyone else so much she forgot to follow the clues

She's so use to helping others win she didn't realize who really was losing

She writes her book day by day making her own moral for every page

She replays her grandmother's last words everyday

She wonders will she ever be eligible for a break

Sometimes she sits n her room and shed a few tears

After all who knew pain could last that many years

Lets just say she omits in self pity

She writes her book everyday making her own moral for every page

When everyone else has succeeded She is stuck at square one all by herself

See what people fail to realize behind every wide smile is a even bigger frown

Even the best has a worst

She writes her book day by day making her own moral for every page

Time continued without her

But since she wrote her book making her own moral for each page

She stopped time

till she caught up and overcame every odd

Now nobody can say she was lost in time
