The Perfect Lover

The perfect lover is the wind.

A warm breeze to brush away the cold.

A cool breeze to calm the raging heart.

A strong wind to push you back when you’ve gone too far

And another wind to push you forward.

A wind to guide you in each and every direction that you wish to go, and sometimes don’t.

A wind to help you soar high in the sky, the draft under your wings of dreams.

Another to bring you back down safely when you’ve gone up so high in the sky.

A breeze to gently caress your skin

And another to rake across your flesh to the bone.

One to bring in the sweet smells of good memories,

And another to bring in the foul stench of bad ones.

The wind is the perfect lover.

Isn’t it?
