Mark 2:8 

8 But immediately, when Jesus perceived in His spirit that they reasoned thus within themselves,

He said to them, “Why do you reason about these things in your hearts?

 

Where do we perceive ... is there more than one place?

“When He received in His Spirit”... seems different than in mind.

Is there a place where the influence on the mind is like a race

and a spot in time ... where the heart is turned blind?

 

Is there a place where no one sleeps and flesh is manipulated?

Is there a true reality where white and black are divided?

Is there where weapons of evil are always fabricated

and love is … as the only answer is provided?

 

Is it influence from the outside ... that drives our being

and makes optional perspective ... what we now call reason?

Is decision making ... all about things we’re seeing

and the objects almost like ... ducks in a hunting season?

 

Who can help us fly away ... when we are hunted

and will show us where to go from this field of slaughter?

Who can bring us peace when the wounded are grunting

and offers to help the hopeless ... who already bought us?

 

“Does not He perceive in Spirit”... my true condition

and not know ... my every confrontation?

Does not He understand ... my fears and frustration

and see clearly ... my final destination?
