People.

That’s all we are,

That’s all anyone is.

How can you expect,

Anyone to break themselves,

To fit inside your package?

People.

That’s all we are,

That’s all anyone is.

Just like you and me,

Alone and together,

Broken and scarless.

People.

That’s all we are,

That’s all anyone is.

No one is you,

No one is me.

How dare you think,

Yourself better than I.

People.

That’s all we are,

That’s all anyone is.

We all have feelings,

None of us are invincible.

Your arrows hurt us,

Just as much as theirs,

Hurt you.

People.

That’s all we are,

That’s all anyone is.

We’re all trying,

We’re all breaking,

We all have rights,

And you have no right,

To invalidate ours.

People.

That’s all we are,

That’s all anyone is.

Regardless of race,

Regardless of IQ,

Regardless of everything.

We’re all people.

We all deserve,

Respect.
