Penny for your thoughts

Penny for your thoughts, my dear? On how the world is ending Or children are dying And we are all surviving? Penny for your thoughts, I ask. There is a simple task. because as we relax, people fight for our nation Yet we sit here impatient. We all think like machines Mostly want to have better things or attractive features Aren't we all just freaks of nature? We talk behind each others backs Jealous and mentally disturbed By what we have heard Of others who live how they preferred I am not one to speak for those Who live like royals or get captured by the under toe However I can speak for myself A jealous smaller insignificant entity I ask for your thoughts Something people most likely push aside Ambushing your creative minds Making you blind in society's eyes I won't take a break A simple walk as they stalk Block my human wants However I want to stop I'm crying about an online issue Simply need just a tissue To wipe my mind's thoughts away And become what society created me to be I'm the over-dramatic Not passive Yet somehow hardly aggressive And honestly tired of depression So as I sit here Looking at our picture It was never very clear What your thoughts were, my dear.
