Penetrating Love

Location

You are the hurt, and the wounded, and the jaded.

Strucken so deep with fear, you are unable to stand alone.

No words can penetrate the wall you have built so high.

You hold no will, for you are clenched fiercely by the past.

So tightly held, you are afraid to again let go of your heart.

But I am right here, and I will be going no where.

I have opened my heart to you and laid it at your feet

To either step on it and walk away to never see the broken mess,

Or pick it up and hold it tight cherishing it with all your might.

But I ask of you to please pick up my heart and run off with it.

I will not stop you and I will not judge you, for it is your heart to take.

My love will not run, it will not brake, it will stand to be your constant.

So have no fear. I stand where you are. I hold my own fear dear to my heart.

Opposites attracting because you are wounded and I am healed.

There is you and I and we are love.
