I follow none, and, 

Like the sun, 

I rise to the challenge of each new day.

Each reason behind the way 

I am

Who I am.

I am boundless

In this earthbound sky

Of possibilities

That fly by.

Blurs gone past 

Sinking fast 

Into the confines of history

But I'm not afraid of the pain of regret.

The dark looks I get

For the smile on my face

That I will not erase 

As they look at the troubles 

And question the bubbles

Of laughter that pop from my throat.

As I go down each road

Like a red carpet.

I own it.

This world is an oyster

But I'm my own pearl.
