A pearl

Strong, beautiful and magnificent

Able to do anything it wants

But

Now, it’s stuck in a shell

Weak and frail

Unable to do anything it wants

A pearl,

Stuck in a shell

And can’t get out

They were afraid

Of the pearl

So They hid the pearl

From the world

But,

The pearl is strong

And can break out of its shell

It’s on top of the world

It will no longer

Be in its lonely, dark shell

It’s able to do

What it wanted to do

A pearl
