Paved with pain

Fri, 06/29/2018 - 15:14 -- Robbie2

They taught us in school the simple things also that we are to peruse our dream. That were all different in our own way, it was something I learned the hard way.
This might be a poem but more of a story from crying from bullies that called me names, to tears of triumph in the art I made. I found talent and a safe space. I found a friend and poetry's his name.
No more crying at night while I'm falling asleep, no more scary dreams or screams on repeat, cause poetry' the one that helped me defeat it.
The road was paved with pain but poetry saved the day from gloom, like the shinning sun to my moon.

This poem is about:
Me
Our world
