The long path way,
Curving around and around
With trees on the side
And leaves on the ground.

The Christmas lights,
Wrapped all around the tree
And all of the animals
Stop to look at me.

The crunch of the leaves
And the swing in my step
Holding on tight
To the necklace I kept.

I walk along the path
Lit up by the lights
That are in the trees
With one last night.
