Past Self

Dear Past Self,

I'm not sure where in your life you are, but I'm a sophomore in college.

I'm not going to lie to you, life is not at all what you thought it was going to be.

You've succeeded, you've failed, you've learned, you've grown.

There are going to be times when you yell at God to put you out of your misery,

but he won't,

and you'll be grateful He didn't.

You are so much more than you think you are.

Live life, make mistakes, because that's how we learn.

It's taken me a long time to be able to say this,

and I'm not even sure it's completely true,

but I'm going to say it anyway;

I love you, you important girl.

Love,

You
