Now we are here TODAY,
And still so far away.
Thinking about the PAST,
And the world TODAY.

See the world told me,
It would never be equal.
Maybe not even bilingual.

A lot has changed in the world,
And change was something encouraged.
But that mindset was whipped and whirled,
Many were now left damaged and discouraged.

Times are new,
But there are still so many issues.
Crime, Poverty, and even Abuse.

Civil Rights were ignored then,
Human Respect is ignored now.

And again we are here TODAY,
And still so far away.
Thinking about the FUTURE,
And how we are going to conquer.
