What have we done?

Well to be honest you did everything

You danced on the biggest stage

You made it through our high school life and problems

You made a lot of friends and met a lot of people

You got pass the biggest obstacle of all, your nerves

You conquered your stress and problems

 

But how did your life change?

I got smarter

I got better at dancing

I learned how to cook

I express myself more often

I learned how to plan my life

I created a perfect routine

I got into a relationship

I got rid of my worries for my family

The only bad part is that

I got fatter

I got lazier

I got older

 

Your family changed you the most

Before this year

You barely interacted

You rarely went out

You barely talked

You didn’t show our appreciation  

You shunned away their voices

After a year passed, I start to revolve my life around my family

The things that they went through for me to have a great life

Putting a roof over my head

Believing in me no matter what

Giving me love and caring for me

Learning all of this made me cherish them

My drive to succeed is my parents now

I want to become the son that will make them proud

The son that provides them with everything they wanted before

I also do not want to make them sad and avoid any problems

But enough talking about the changes I made because of family

 

Internally I did not change that much

I feel like I am more

More lively and loud

More friendly and energetic

More cocky and irritable

I don’t think too much about life anymore

Relationships changed us a lot

I lost my manliness

The changes we wanted to make in life we finally did it

I don’t regret anything I do  

Compared to last year I am enjoying life more

I am not the same person as I am last year

Compared to you I am more mature

I moved on from the accident

I learned from your mistakes and I became a better person

I am not you anymore I am the future you

The more accomplished and better version of yourself

The many regrets you had I destroyed

To my past and to your future, we changed our lives for the better.
