Passing Strangers

I walk past you

You, you, and you

But what is it

That you do?

What

 is it like

Your perspective

And feelings about life?

Who do you treasure

And share your thoughts

Do you have others

To confide in when all feels lost?

Oh individual

I will probably

Only ever pass once

Your name is unknown

But there is

A mutual bond

We are humans

Just souls trying to get by

So completely different

But not totally unalike
