Passing Shadows

Location

Silent cries resound throughout the night

Pleading to be heard, their eerie symphony reaching silent ears.

As time drags on and the lull of life sets, the cries die down

One by one their rythm lessens, only to become a faint whisper.

Some grip their light for dear life, not ready to fade.

But as time goes on their hope depleats, and scars grow deep.

The painful days of times before come to be too much,

Engulfed in sorrows wings they themselves become shadows of their past.

Hallowed by grief, saddened by false fates

They go through time as, but nothing more than, passing shadows we overlook on the streets.
