Parasite

Ecclesiastes 1:8 New Living Translation (NLT)

Everything is wearisome beyond description.

No matter how much we see, we are never satisfied.

No matter how much we hear, we are not content.

Pour it out on paper … all the facts are not in

Choose to be unhappy … in your frame of mind

Life is just a vapor … soon gone with the wind

The same for Ma and Pappy and others you can find.

Emotions in the playpen … are forming many words

The message is still the same directed from the heart

Remember now and then … seem never in one accord

As contradiction within can’t part from being smart

Streaking on white surface … impressions from inside

The reality of truth passed by … surely seldom invited

Exclaiming to know purpose … separating what’s right

As it sucks away at life ... as an ever slurping parasite
