The Paradox of Life

We live to die,

We die to live,

Living for life yet waiting to die,

Killing to live,

Living for the kill.

Claiming above is salvation,

Below our damnation.

Pretending to be a middle ground where the good deeds our number the rape and murder.

Someone hurts us and we hurt them,

Give us a smile and some smile back,

Others will just beat your ass.

If we’re living to die with the fake perception of life, holding no reality but our own, why does living or dying really matter to those who die once they’ve lived and those who live once they die…
