The Parable

Tue, 10/03/2017 - 05:08 -- Cienna

Because I love you, the thought of me without you was unbearable.

Being by your side was my choice, little did I know it'd be nothing but a parable,

A parable to warn those who thought, "because I love you" was acceptable,

Acceptable for tearing yourself apart, because you thought you could be repairable,

Repairable because you no longer believed that you were desirable,

Desirable in the eyes of the one who made you feel unacceptable,

Unacceptable in ways tht could not be fixed, ways that are incurable,

Incurable being the one thing that seemed unforgivable,

Unforgivable to him, him being the man who was nothing but horrible,

The man who said, "because I love you," yet made you feel unlovable,

Unlovable, oh to believe you are unlovable, the pain is incomparible,

Incomparable to the pain you feel when your skin feels unwearable.

Its okay, I'm alright, I'll be fine, because he loves me.

Right?
