Paper Treasures

I made a paper boat

You said I shouldn 't gloat

Beacause it couldn't float

 I made a paper swan

All you did was yawn

Saying it would never soar above a pond

I made a paper plane

You resented it all the same

Claiming it was lame

I made a paper flower

You were still sour

And crumbled it into powder

I made a paper heart

Presenting it to you for a start

But you tore it apart

Nothing I did would satisfy

Nothing I made would gratify

However, it will take evrything I occupy

Just to say goodbye
