The Paper Trail

As I walk down my past I see misjudgement and doubt
As I look to the sky I saw the clouds followed by me dreams
Maybe they do exist through the mist I made, my fists brought pain for my future
The wound heals but as far as actions they leave scars
You can run but the struggles are never that far
Stay true to whats right
If it ain't say its wrong
That's just how it is, how it goes
Life moves on you feel that deadweight your lagging
But you're breathing
I got this mixed feeling as each day goes by
the humbleness fights the pride
As it tries to free whats within
Call it what you want just don't say its a sin
Don't claim it as a reason to resolve your actions
Admit when your wrong
They'll call you captain
I'll never ask what I can't dish don;t feed a diss or say its wrong
Stay true and stay strong
Haters?
They can't tag along or do what's right
Walk along til you need to look around
They want unneeded data
I'm just trying to keep the status quo
When did the blue become a foe?
Freedom is no longer free
And respect isn't a given
Its impossible to feel home when you're imprisoned
But that's just life
Don't get me wrong some are weaker but a lot more are holidin their own
Lockin the doors and pointin the finger at me
