It was the worst of days
it was the end of days
the earth was closed for the day
humanity most greatest fear was birthed today

The epithet of the virus was yet unknown
fears went deep, deep in the heart of men
isolation at this point was never an option
humanity most great threat was yet still known

Craving for a cure, I cannot sleep
Over the edge, driving me bonkers
Venereal disease, I wish for now
Into the darkness, the earth was quiet
Death was the first symptom known.
