Overcoming the fear of mistakes

I fear that the choices I’ve made are wrong

Thus I should relax and just sing a song.

I fear the rawness of the real world

But I mustn’t be so torn.

Someone didn’t give me a warning

So I went through some mourning.

For myself I wasn’t going to lie

So it felt as if I was going to die.

I figured growing old would make me gold.

An empty room filled up to the brim with unspoken words.

It all seems as if everything is blurred.

Then the world whispered to me

So I let it be.
