For the over-thinkers

I have a lot on my mind,

and it consumes all my time.
Overthinking about how I overthink,
Like how it seems there isn't enough time for me,
Sometimes I'm dreaming big,
Sometimes I'm stressing,
Hell sometimes I'm even crushing,
I imagine my plans unfolding in the future,
Then there's something that recreates that imagery,
Over thinking can make you,
And then somehow break you,
It's a curse in disguise,
That you find hard to reject.
Your thoughts can soak up the hours,
Have you day dreaming,
About the maybe's and possibilities,
You long to have reached,
Day by Day,
You play the same thought over in your head,
However now you feel differently,
That idea that once seemed brilliant,
Now symbolizes stupidity,
Still you can't shake thinking about it again,
In which it becomes a repetitive cycle,
You love it,
You hate,
It's modern,
It's outdated,
It's smart,
It's stupid,
Why do we even go through it?
You want to follow through,
But you won't dare,
Go against that over thinking process that can kill your ambition,
You ever heard the phrase the first thought is most likely right?
Maybe you could apply that to life,
You may think about what was just said,
Considering how it made sense,
Trying to dissect it and search for a greater explanation,
And that's when the over thinking process starts all over again.
