Out In The Field

Location

In my junior year of high school,

I took some wacky classes.

They were Forensics I and II

And I always wore my glasses.

The teacher then inspired me

To be all I can be.

Now I’m almost off to college

To help discover me.

That class was really fun.

We would watch CSI.

I now aspire to learn the skills

To make that life like mine.

Once given my degree,

I’ll be searching for positions.

In crime labs or police stations?

I’m still making that decision.

These are my aspirations

That I hope will change my life.

I’ll work to support my family

And never have to strife.

For now I’m working towards

Acquiring the tools to wield

Boy I just can’t wait

To be out in the field!
