Our derrick

REST IN PEACE
DERRICK

It's been a year my friend, since we last shook hands
It's been five years brother, since we exchanged notes
It's been eight long months, since we linked via whatsapp
It's been thirteen full moons, since we toasted to anything
It's been all the time we got, but it'll never be enough

We broke half the school rules, never got expelled
We both digged some lame chics, never admitted it
We sometimes got too upset, never to hold a grudge
We once got into good books, never was round two
We've been through most of it, but it'll never be enough

Tastes preferences likes, all seemed like bullshit
Food girls alcohol bluxxville, all seemed like adrenaline
Rules programmes events, all seemed like egg shells
Books bells sports mocks, all seemed like literature
We absorbed as much as we could, but it'll never be enough

Cold weather tried to freeze our butts, we peed hot vodka
Roba tried to take every pork chop, we fed him scraps
Mr kinga tried to run away from you, you chose Geography
Warren tried to take all your ova, showed him who's boss
You euphenised every damn crisis, but it'll never be enough

Bao lexus nesh kyogs drizzy and many more, miss you d&g
Maybach and bluxxville as a whole, miss you teflon king
Friends family embu meru nai and back, miss you derizzy
All the fucking friends and moments, miss you tha don
We'll always treasure those times, but it'll never be enough
