Open your Eyes

Location

You’ve been through school

So why don’t you see?

A plethora of your students

Have been bullied many times previously?

What about the kid in the back row

Who is always so quiet?

Could it be that if he told you his story

That you wouldn’t buy it?

Or maybe you would laugh

And say that it wasn’t meant like that

When the kids pushed him down

And called him “retarded,” “worthless” and “fat?”

Shouldn’t you out all of us be able to see

The kids who have been bullied many time previously?

Maybe he’s not participating because he’s filled with hate

You better talk to him and become a friend before it’s too late.

Sure maybe some kids will notice

But what if they feel bad?

They might not want to seem

Like the “judger” and make them mad.

You’ve been though school

So why don’t you see?

A plethora of your students

Have been bullied manytimes previously?
