An Open letter to a Childhood Friend

i.

Two rivers, either side of the road. Content in their currents. Side By Side.

ii.

Confluence; the junction of two rivers.

Divergence; seperating from another route (river).

iii.

Whitewater; FAST shallow stretches of water in a river.

iv.

This whitewater current has carried us far too long.

Insecurity in whitewater can kill you.

Drown

If you fight too

Hard for a friendship,

Does it drown?

v.

Confluence; the junction of two rivers.

Divergence; separating from another route (river).

vi.

Rivers CONVERGE in whitewater. Rivers DIVERGE in whitewater.

Our rivers converged, rode the rapids, and diverged in the blink of an eye.

vii.

Things drown in the blink of an eye.
