Open That Door

That voice in your head

That scream you let out in that pillow

Those pages filled up in your journel

Open up that door and let it out to the world

friends, family, strangers

You deserve to be heard and understood

You get called weird, dumb, pathetic, fat, lazy

You get pushed around and always in the background

It cuts deep like a razor

Speak up for yourself

Show them who you are

Show the world your ideas

Show them your mind

Forget what they think

Open up that door and never shut it again
