The Only Wonder

My eyes have seen many wonders of this world

The streches of the Amazon River

thats water leaks from my soul

The ashen color of the Great Wall

which inspires my feet to continue on their journey in this life

The rolling mountains and abundance of trees

which morning mists fog my brain when sadness takes over

The flashing lights and breath taking skylines

that pump my heart and keep my spirit singing

But nothing can compare to the first time I looked into her eyes

The sight of them was more astonishing than every castle, building, or forest on this Earth

and when they looked at me

I swore that I would never see anything more wonderful than her eyes.
